The small scale fishers in FFF network organized a field visit and an interactive dialogue today at Prachuakkirikhan community.
The major issues were discussed and many common issues emerged at the meeting.
Destructive fishing gears, foreign fishing vessels, marketing issues of fisheries products, post harvest issues for fisher women were discussed.
Once our team member Arthur Bull from Canada asked a question of how they face the issues of destructive fishing gears they said, "First we negotiate. Unless they listen, we use power. We catch them and destroy their nets.
So the group is orgsnized and active in the field to fight against their evils.
