People in Jaffna continue their agonies even in Good Governance Government

"Our land is still under military control."
"Women who lost their husbands during war do not have security and way to sustain the life."
"Future of our children are in danger as no proper education and health facilities provided."
"Military occupation continue in our land in KKS in the name of security. But, military run Star hotels in the same area without having any security threat"
"We thought the military era of Mahinda/ Gota regime was defeated on 08th January 2015. But, the CID/NIB fellows come behind us as they were earlier."

These are some of the same complains we received from the Northern people, Jaffna in particular during the MR regime. With our high disappointment the similar matters are continuing under MS/ RW GGG too.
"We did not expect this to happen again. We blindly trust the Sinhala majority lead government to elect to rule us. It is ironic the history is repeating. Now we do not know who are the jokers in present context?" The IDPs, Groups of WHF and also northern fisher leaders who attended the quarterly monitoring and evaluation meeting held at Jaffna yesterday.
Priyankaea Costa who lead the evaluation team said to me, "People are much disturbed with broken promises and pressure and insecure situation increasing now. The displaced people have come to a threshold point and very angry with all. The southern people need to pay much attention over this situation as concern and responsible citizens."
