This is the main line of discussion today at NPFPU meeting.
M. M. Alam the chair person of NPFOU at the meeting today says that we all should take conscious effort to sustain the livelihood. We can not agree to allow destructive fishing in the northern province. This is debatable as some of you do not agree to this. How do we come to consensus on this? We all need to find our own way for pir future.
The future plan will be prepared in each district. Then we bring representatives from all 5 districts and prepare overall northern province plan. This will be discussed with the northern provincial councilors and the Chief Minister.
Leaders who attended the meeting had heat argument about the former leadership and how to proceed from now. The secretary explained what the experience we had during the meeting with former leader of NPFPU.
So the group came to consensus there should be new leader elected. And former leader has failed to perform his duties.
