The street drama group is performing at Murugandi Kovil on Seed Grabbing by Multi National Companies.
Seed as the basic requirement to food sovereignty is about to hand over to the MNCs. Proposed Seed act 2013 is the basic policy paper to take the right to Seed away from the traditional farmer.
The seed traditionally produced by the farmer is no more people's right. If the farmer produce for even exchange the seed, that will be an illegal action as provisions in the Seed act. The street drama highlighted how the companies engage the violation of people's rights.
