It is going to be hard time as Presidential election going to be the "Fight on the Rock" says Dr. P. Saravanamuttu, director CPA yesterday. Once we convene a civil society meeting at Negombo on future work of civil society there were 72 people attended the meeting. The group says we need to go to the street and educate wider society to make aware current situation and find ways for change the current policies.
This is what we propose as Reform agenda in which 12 sectors identified and work on them as groups. Now the groups are coming together to consolidate sectoral reports and negotiate with Political parties to change the policies based on the reform proposals we submit.
The group agreed that we need to meet people in the streets and talk to people. This is the street cultural campaign we plan for coming months. Our stand is that we campaign continuously till we achieve the goal. This will be done till we establish our reform agenda until any government elect in the country.
There will be street campaign launched in coming months. The launching of the campaign will be done on 10th November.
