"We will build our organization in Trincomalee! Says Ananda Peiris

The district committee meeting organized at Trincomalee atTown and gravest DS office conference hall on 08 of April which organized by Trincomalee District Fisheries solidarity. The members from Citizen committee leaders, women headed family federation leaders and Fisher  leaders patticipated the workshop.

The group felt the necessity to conduct SWOT Analysis in each village to reform the village community groups.

Mr. Maduran, the development officer of DS office facilitated the workshop on community development ,Self employment projects and collaboration work.

Ananda Peiris, the coordinator of Trincomalee district solidarity organization, reflected and shared. "We have been working among fishing communities even before the tsunami. We worked with hundreds of fishermen to uplift the lives and livelihoods of tsunami affected/ survived families  and even built houses for them. Not only from tsunami, Our people affected with war. We engaged to build our community in Trincomalee under the support of NAFSO. So we need to reflect each of our work collectively. This SWOT analysis of our group will help us to strtegize our work."

"We use this SWOT Analysis to build our organization more strongly. We all are keen to have a strong organization to face the challenges." Said the chairperson of the district committee.
