YDIFSO organized its citizen forum at Afdalachenai yesterday. The main aim is to educate DIFSO members in the citizen Forum on the constitutional dialogue in the country as well as to discuss the political solution for ethnic crisis. There is an idea of 13 plus though no one knows the meaning of the same.
NAFSO has launched an awareness campaign among its members on both the subjects.
The powerful women leaders at Citizen Forum came up with many intrresting suhgestions including gender justice. Specifically they prposed an independeny women commission.
Zahira Ismail who was a participant to the women's exchange program to India shared her experiences and said, :Dalith women are in the land struggle. Their collective efforts bring the attention of authorities and bring justice. People have their own ways to generate resources for expenses of the struggles. Thisis important as people feel all struggles as their own."
