The Food Sovereognty campaign launchef at Trincomalee in the eastern coast of Sr Lanka yesterday as a part of national people's caravan 2015 on food sovereignty. The main themes were focused on the sustenance of the women headed families among women group while the small scale fisher people's response to destructive fishing practices in the eastern coast of Trincomalee.
The main focus at the fisheries meeting was to plan the campaign against destructive fishing.

* Continue dialogue with Assistant director and District secretary
* Dialogue with the director general -Fisheries and minister
Are some of the work planned ahead.
For women it was to get the support to WHF Issues from Eastern provincial council and relavant authorities.
