Sea erosion has become a serious threat to the coastal communities among many parts of the island. Coastal communities loss their land and become landless as an adversary. After construction of Oluwil harbor some communirmties around the harbor face threat of sea erosion.
As a part of the FS Campaign the DIFSO, the Ampara district partner of NAFSO had organized community mobilzing program to address the issue.
The people to people dialogue coordinator A. Jesudasan attended the field visit with the people and said" there should be serious effort to find a solution for sea erosion. We will work with the relevant authorities to address the issue.
