WhyHunger team mediated to organize a meeting between NAMA friend and me from NAFSO today at WhyHunger office.
Brett of NAMA, Saulo Araujo chairperson and Tristan Thebold of WhyHunger and me had a strategical discussion on the building global connections, developing strategies for collective campaign, leadership formation within fisheries organizations, country to country exchange experiences among fisher groups and also fund raising possibilities for our activities. The leadership building dialogue was very important to NAFSO at this stage.
This is timely important dialigue as NAFSO is planning for develop it's leaders through establishing People's Political academy based on our movements youth leadership.

* Climate Justice
* Gender Justice
* People's struggles and Role of Social movements for social transformation,
Are the some of the key subject areas we are planning to develop curriculums in the program.
This is in the conceptual development stage in which we need to develop with further thoughts to cover major subject areas for leadership development.
This was a very good opportunity for me to share with friends at WhyHunger who encourage and assist us always in the food sovereignty campaign.
