Citizen's are Getting Organized to Gain their Rights at Mannar

The Nesakkaram Citizen committee met at Mannar yesterday as their monthly gathering.
The people are united at the district and discuss their issues, mainly the issues they face and the ways to address them collectively. 
The leadership is emerged among the leaders of 12 villages where NAFSO engage in people's organizing activities in Mannar district.
The issues faced by IDPs such as Mullikulam and Pallimunai are among others discuss seriously.
The issues related to Women Headed Families are another important aspects because the security issues are most pressing and burning issues among them.

The sad incident of Vidyadevi of Pungukuduthivu was also discussed in the context of militarization and security. However, people are pleased to see the developments under the new regime as the civil administration gradually transferring in the hands to civil servants and to police.
