NAFSO team met Miridiya Organization at Polonnaruwa today. Sr. Marlene Perera, Manoj Silva and Kamani Dilrukshi together with Pradeep, Jesu and me attended the meeting.
Sr. Marlene shared her experiences among children(150), youth(90) and elders(300) in the organization. There are more than 550 members altogether in the organization.
The loan scheme which is supported through the assistance of Fr. Ranjith de Mel.
The empowerment process of youth through awareness raising and culture is one of the key activity in the organization.
"We will form a youth cultural group if you support us to train them. We have capacity to build up youth movement", says Manoj Silva, the coordinator of Miridiya Organization.
