The fisheries groups met at Trincomalee today with the participation of fisher leaders, women leadership, members of citizen forum leadership.
The group discussed in detail how we address the issues related to;
* Women's issues
* Fisheries issues,
* Issues related to women headed families
The group discussed the matters related to organize women day. Women day will be held on 12 March at Trincomalee with the participation of 200 women from 12 villages.
The district committee will discuss the organization matters on 28th Feb.
