Jesudasan addressing the Northern province fisher people union meeting

Fishers in the north will plan their future during the coming days.
They will draft their district plans in separate districts followed by northern province provincial plan eventually.
Meetings will be held;
Jaffna - 13 February
Mannar - 14 February
Kilinochchi - 27 February
Mulaitivu - 3 March

The final plan for the province will be held mid March with the selected leaders of the district planning meetings.

As the first step in Jaffna there will be participants of union members, Jaffna managers forum, cooperative members.
The Prof. Mrs. Kuganathan from Fisheries dept of Jaffna university, Prof. Soosaianandan of geography dept and NAFSO team members will facilitate the sessions.
Jaffna managers forum organized a preparatory work shop today for the fisheries development planning meeting on 13th Feb at Jaffna.
Mr. Ahilan Kadiragamar and Mr. Sooriyasekaran facilitated the work with Prof. Mrs. Kuganathan at the prep meeting today.
The similar programs will be held the other 3 districts too.

The whole process began at the Northern Province Fisher People Union meeting which was held under the leadership of the fisher leaders of M. Aalam of Mannar and S. Subramaniyam of Mathagal, Jaffna. Antony Jesudasan facilitated this session at the meeting.
