Kalpitiya, Kandakuliya, Thalawila and Island people came to street for a protest at Kalpitiya town today demanding former OIC of Police who was transfered early November last year.
Rev. Bandiwewe Diyasena thero launched a hunger strike demanding the same and did not come to any agreement at that time. People in the police area say the formee OIC played a major role to clean the ilicit liquor, gambling, drugs and all sorts of evils in the area.
People say they will continue this till relevant authority promise them for a solution.
