We attended with another 22 trade unions meeting which organized by Women and Media today.
One of the main theme is "Women representation in Politics in Sri Lanka." Which there was one session with heated arguments. Women groups expect 30/. representation in policy making structures. My view is to create democratic space in trade unions, political parties and civil organizations if we want a better political system in our country.
