The Civil Society Forum which began their campaign with the NGO Secretariat circular issued at 30th June restricting the Civil Society activities of educating people, media briefings, awareness workshops has now come to a collective agreement that we need a democratic space and economic justice in the country.
After series of civil society consultations in various aspects related to democracy and economic justice, we have identified 15 main areas to come up with alternatives for the existing situation. Various CSOs which are working in their respective fields raised the enthusiasm and came up with proposals for change the situation.
Now, we are planning to begin the dialogue with the political parties, election candidates, civil society leaders, media, scholars, religious leaders etc. etc. for bring all the forces together for a reforms.
We all now work for reform to be presented to the society as we want to continue the dialogue as a strong social movement, which will not end at the elections.
The CSOs will come to Fort Station on 25th November and will launch the reform proposals submitting them to wider society, including Political leaders, and also the Common Camdidate.
