We are living like in a open prison. Military is every where even we as woman can not live free and we live in a fear always. We are not happy with what the rulers trying to highlight and show off to the world.
We need our people to reflect the situation and think how we need to change this.
* How do we address the issues faced by the ethnic minorities?
* What is the frame work to share the power?
* How do we build up a people's power to advocate the rights of the people?
These are some of the points emerged at the morning session at the work shop with northern civil society group.
How the north- south collaboration bring justice to all the communities in the country is the challenge ahead of us. Because without having the courage to take a strong stand against the injustices by the people, there won't be any change. We as NAFSO is having more than enough experiences negative while working with the communities. We know how the oppression is spread around the country. People are hesitate to take any action if there are any restriction come from official means or unofficially as it happened in the past.
* Building an alternative reform proposals
* Building a Social Movement to resist oppression and assert the rights of the people
However, there is a long way to go to ensure the rights of the people.
