We met Women at Batticoloa today and assessed how far they are suceeding their life struggles with the basic support we provided to those women.
I am impressed with the outcome of the meeting. STA team has organized the women of 15 among the hundreds of participants to the women program.
J. B. Thavamani of Thiranamadu was crying with overflowing her happiness with the success. She explained how she and her kids earn for their daily income through the dry fish production with NAFSO/ STA Support.
Almost all women expected some skill and knowledge enhancements. Lavena, NAFSO women coordinator explained our work among women in the country, N/E in particular.
Subashinie explained how and what way Sri Vimukthi Fisher Women organization does with Nogombo women.
I explained what NAFSO can do in relation to women's request and what we can do more.

* Support to exchange program between Batti and Negombo women
In addition to those Herman explained the current policy dialogues such as VGGT and IGSSF process and how they are important. At the same time the Change with Reform program we engage in policy reforming.
The request was emerged to organize some continuous one year program for women in Batti.
