There are 7000 acres land have been freed and handed over to defense ministry says T. B. Ekanayake, the State minister of land. According to the Sturday Lankadeepa news paper those lands are in Jaffna, Kilinichchi and Vavunia districts. As State minister said the basic information collection being done with the district secretaries, land commissioners in the respective disctricts.
