Do we continue the dialogue as northern fisher people's unity

"We are proud the work we did on 30th May in Fort, Colombo. Lot of people, trade unions, politicians, religious leaders, CSO leaders attended the session. Then 15th July we had the Land campaign at Jaffna which we had to face lot of disturbances. But lot of people from Southern districts attended this work. All these were in relation to our people's issues. This is a very good interaction between south- north people. It contributed to reconciliation process too. However, divisions within us caused lot to weaken our strength."
Said Mr. Mohommed Alam, the chairperson of northern province fisher people's unity at the committee meeting of the unity held at Vavunia today.
The leaders who attended the meeting say they need the Unity to strengthen as it is essentil to future of the northern fisher people.

We are very clear that NAFSO will be with you if there ars 10 people like you want to continue this dialogue between northern and southern people. Let us continue the dialogue united manner."
