Police got court order banning people's peaceful prorest

It is clear evident of the impact of tomorrow's protest at Jaffna that regime used police again to ban our peaceful demobstrations.
First the forces approached the people in IDP camps and threatned not to attend the protest. Then they used the fisheries organization leaders saying not to attend the protest and it as a useless atttempt. Further they said GOSL is taking all the steps to solve the problem hence no need any protest.
But when the other CSOs, political parties and religious groups came update strongly supporting to the protest the authorities used their henchmen to go to the court and to get a court order banning it.
A policeman spoke to me over the phone and informed the court order and wanted to get the fax number to deliver the message to NAFSO. Until upto now there is no fax received to us.
So, it is very clear how far the authorities are excited with people's voice. This is a clear evidence of violation of fundamental rights of right to freedom expression and also right to association.
We are not sure why the authorities are disturbed with north and south solidarity on people's issues. We feel sorry about the back boneless so called fisher leaders who are having very rich fighting spirit for their rights. This is the sadest part of this drama of the regime and we will discuss this thouroughly once we meet them next time.
