HRC Binding Instrument on Regulation of TNCs

I am sending this message to my Blog little delayed although this historic event took place on 26th June.


On the June 26, the UN Human Rights Council took an important decision towards a binding instrument on the regulation of TNCs - in line with the demands of the Vienna + 20 Declaration.

So, let us continue our work to see all the demands of our Declaration met.

We all are working against unaccountable actions of corporates and this would help us to use as a tool for our actions, struggles, future education work to regulate, unregulatory corporates and the make sure their accountability to the society.

This is one of a step towards social movements to ensure the rights of the people whom they represent.
We need to further educate our movements to get the benefits out of this binding instruments.
