New Year Celebrations for Unity

Southern Fisheries Organization in Matara is one of the strongest base of NAFSO with above 2000 membership and majority are women.
New year celebrations were conducted at wattegama Matara, the Peramaga unit which gave strong sense of unity among not only the members but also among all the villages of the community.
All the games organized, collect money for the prizes, permissions for the activities and venue were done under the leadership of women's group. The judges and other necessary assistance was sought from the activists of the organization.
We are proud of emerged women leadership through these activities.
