"We are committed to Co-Management practice at northern province" say the fisheries minister and fisher leaders today

Media briefing was conducted by  the northern province fisheries cooperative feferation leaders together with the political leadership of northern province fisheries minister at Vavunia today committing to the Co-Management flatform for northern province. 

Prior to the press briefing there was an initial discussion with minister of fisheries in Northern provincial council on co management system and common fisheries issues in Northern province was conducted among N.M. Alam, Mannar,  N.A. subramaniyam, Jaffna, Franzis Joseph, Kilinochchi, Benedict Croos, Mannar at Arundathi Hall at Vavinia.

Antony Jesudasan, coordinator, People to People Dialogue ( PPD) attended from NAFSO and said, "We are happy to see the progress made by NPFPU on Co-Management platform. We made the concept and people together with political leadership in the  area take this into their hand which is what we ecpected. Now people should take the control their resources into your hand."
"We as NAFSO would deliver our utmost support to  the Co-Management platform" added Jesudasan.
