NAFSO Condemn brutal attack to Meepura web editor Fredie Gamage

Fredie Gamage, the Meepura Web editor was brutally attacked yesterday at in front of the Negombo Municipal council yesterday.[01st June].
In an media interview, Fredie Gamage said that, "I was threatened by Dayan Lansa previously. They want to silence us as our media interventions are challenged to their involvement on social evils. We were able to defeat the undemocratic culture implemented by Mahinda Regime. Unfortunately, the same culture continue even in the Good Governance Government we established."
We as National Fisheries Solidarity Movement[NAFSO] condemned this heinous efforts to silence media and media journalists which we supposed the  defeat after 08th January 2015.
We will mediate to organize a street protest on 3rd June at Negombo bus stand.
The protest will be held infront of Negombo bus stand on 3rd June, at 11.30am.
