The Praja Abilasha land rights network of NAFSO organized a 2 day workshop at Digana.
The PA member organization leaders attend the session which analyze the development strategy of current government.
The team engage in many land struggles on many parts of the country come together to understand how the system work towards to take land water and other natural resources away from the people.
Sajeewa Chamikara said at the opening session "the international financial institutions' lead open economy dictate the terms of privatization of natural resources and as a result how the land and water grabbing taking place."
"We can not address this only confronting with the national government. So our struggle should aim all those actors."
The program participants will come up with a strategy to work together effectively.
