Stop Indian Trawlers! The Northern Province Fisher People's Unity agitate infront of Jaffna District Secretariat today

The Northern Province Fisher People's Unity, lead by Subramaniyam of Jaffna and Aalam of Mannar district federation leaders are in a massive protest in front of Jaffna District Secretariat today.
The main aim of the protest is to support the dialogues between Sri Lankan fisheries Minister, Mahinda Amaraweera and the Indian Authorities to find a solution to the Indian trawlers invasion in to SL waters.
However, the Tamil Nadu fishermen were planned to launch a massive protest in Chennai, in front of the Sri Lankan deputy high commissioners office. So, the Jaffna protest lead the Northern Province Fisher People's Unity [NPFPU] is a support to the Sri Lankan fisheries ministers efforts in India.
