We can see how the people behaved at the general election. There were number of MPs elected with highest those who promoted racism and religious fundametalism in their election propaganda.
What we are facing the biggest challenge is breaking the people's illusions. We need to find ways to do this. This is the
Challenge Jayantha Peiris of Matara kept in front of us.
The new ideas need to educate our people. May be we need to compose new songs, produce new dramas to educate people. Black protest is a new idea and a creative action we launched. We need to have more creatve actions to eradicate the racism. There should be a program to educate all of the communities irrespective of their ethnicity, religion as well as the geographical differences.
