What can we do as Veediye Virodaya?

We as VV team assessed our activities during the past few months or during the 100 days of the new government. It is mixed feelings of the group that some felt they never received positive changes.
"One basic achievement after the regime change is that the most of our activists are still alive. Otherwise we are no more here today. That it self is an achievement", Brito, one of the conveners of the group shared his views at the meeting.
"How do we face the craze of ethnic chaunism is the challenge ahead of us. The evil forces we defeated last 8th January are trying to come to power again using the chaunist forces. This should be defeated" says Chinthaka Rajapakse in his opening words of the session.
"We never allow this to happen and we need to mobilize people whom we met during the election campaign." added Chinthaka.

"We need help of the organizations and others to carry out the campaign which
help people to understand the current situation. The defeated forces has captured our space in the streets. Do we allow it to happen any more", Philip Dissanayake challenged the VV team in the planning session. The VV group agreed to organize campaigns in 10 districts.
