Forest Rights in India as inneleniable right

Indigenous people continuously fought and won the forest rights during the time of colonizers. But the Indian govt after independence changed the situation through legislation over the 23/. forest coverage. Govt consider the adivasis as the encroachers of forests. However,
Indigenous people do not own personal individual lands. APVVU is trying to organize the people those who are loosing the land as Chenniah Ponguri shared.

"There are around 68,000 claims made their members for forest rights.
The IFFM conducted to highlight the issues of the affected people.
The corporations are using CSR to exploit the Resources through NGOs against the adivasis" Chenniah narrated.

State hegemonys are using to destroy social and cultural values of the people. Some people are working against these iasues and govt is cancelling the liscences for receiving for funds.
Govt is going to be oppressive and brutal against those who are fighting with the people to reclaim the rights. Fight is continuous in India among forest people.
