Planning meeting of Jaffna district union completed with much success

NAFSO organise series of meetings with fisher communities in 4 districts in Northern province with the aim of drafting a provincial development plan.
Today we were able to organise Jaffna district fisher coop members, NPFPU members, experts and civil society representatives.
We devided the participants into 7 groups and got the issues, possible solutions and responsible persons, authorities etc.

Our main challenge was how we engage in the development process as responsible persons? We need to identify how we can engage for collaboration work with govt. officials, CSOs, Cooperatives and individuals in the society. The findings will be compiled after finding the issues and solutions from other districts.
