We are in the period of Presidential election. It will be held on 8th January which is seems as a fight on the rock. Both main opposition party and the ruling party fight all possible means to win the election.
CSO's are taking bold stand to ensure rule of law, constitutional reforms, economic reforms and ethnic and religious harmony, human rights of the country.
We openly stand for a better society and struggle continues during the election period as concern citizens of the country.
We engage Veediye Virodaya street campaign and traveled around the country last 6 weeks since 25th November from Fort station.
Today morning Brito Fernando phoned me and informed that a newly cut, a head of dog neck hang on his gate. Also infront of his colleague Prasanga Fernando's house was tatgetted and hang a dog's neck.
This is a message to all the activists those who take stand rfor human rights and social justice.
