Yesterday, 5th December, once we completed the Street Protest at Eppawala town and left the place where we launched the campaign, Jayathilake Bandara, our comrade artist who sang at the occasion bit delayed to pack up his instruments. As other three vehicles were left the place and only Jayathilake's van was there the thugs belong to N/C province CM's thugs, one coordinating secretary and another PS councilor had brutally attacked Jayathilake Bandara, Artist, Samantha Epa, Civil Activist and the TV media journalist Thisara there.
The police were helpless and could not take any action, even one thug used his pistol and threatned to kill one civil activist.
Once we learned the situation, we immediately reached the place where the incident took place and confront with the thugs face to face.
Our team said, "Mahinda can not stop us sending thugs" We will continue the campaign.
