Our Land: Our Life. Respecting the promises to People is Good Governance

The People's Alliance for Right to Land, [PARL] is planning to organize an interactory dialogue on Land issues and the Cabinet decision made on 11 February 2015.
Up to today, there is no any land given back in many places according to the Cabinet decision and people are still awaiting to receive their land back.
We expect to bring the current situation in to main discourse and to debate about the land policy matters in the current development process of the new government.
We demand people's land back and to resettle people in their places of origin on 11th February as this is one year gone already and people conducted several negotiations with the district secretary, divisional secretary and ministers as well as the possible actors in relation to land issue.

We expect above 500 people to present at the meeting and raised their concerns and issues over the land issue and will attempt to highlight the people's issues in relation to land and livelihoods.
