International Women's Day

NAFSO is planning to organize Women day in 3 places.

One in Trincomalee on the 12th March which organize by NAFSO women's organization there.

Second in Mannar on 18th March with  Mannar women's organization.

Third one will be in Negombo with Sri Vimukthi Fisher Women Organization in Negombo, the date yet to finalize.

However, there are number of other events taking place to commemorate women's day today in the country.

One is as advertised here below and we encourage our women to take part it.

They say men talk politics
Women talk gossip
They say men are rational
Women are emotional
They say men are leaders
Women are care takers
They say men are for Parliament
Women are for the Kitchen
They say politics is dirty
That is not for a woman
We say
All women come from the kitchen
With your brooms and dust pans
It is high time to clean up the mess in politics
We will clean up the dirt from politics
Let's make it more hygienic
We say
All emotional women come from home
Let's add some softness to the immorality of  politics
We say
We have taken care of the house
Now we will take care of politics
