Mohommed Ali Sha the General Secretary of WFFP arrived this morning and joined the WFFP GA6 today.
He explained how he pressurized by the visa issue. He explained how the WFFP need the collective action against the Sea grabbing in the globalized world.
We also need to strengthen our selves through paying membership fees as funding agencies phase out from us.
We trust the struggle. Because of that our involvement he was arrested several times. The main issue in Pakistan is nuclear power plants and which affect millions of people. Also aecond is coal power plants. Third one is sea grabbing. More than 2 million hectares occupied to build up new city. Millions of fisherfolk affected.
We need international solidarity as we can not fight alone. WFFP is our strength and we fight together. Long live international fisherfolk solidarity.
