Come and join Hand in Hand to Strengthen Disappeared Families! They Need Justice

Sandya Eknaligoda, the wife of Disappeared Journalist, cartoonist, artiste Prageeth Eknaligoda of Sri Lanka is inviting us to commemorate the memories of Prageeth. It is 4 years has been gone, with out clear eye witnesses. She is traveling every where to find her husband. Get lot of bad words from various people including notorious members of parliament. Most sad part is that one of parliamentarian has told in the parliament that he met Prageeth at France and our friend Manjula Wediwardene showed a bold headed person introducing him as Prageeth. Present Chief Justice, then the attorney General while attending the Committee on Torture in 2011 November said, they have proof that Prageeth has gone a foreign country and they know all the information, When Sandya appeal from the court to get the information of Pradeep's where about, and judge asked from him the situation, present CJ said at the court, "It is God only knows. Not him or any one else." So, Prageeth is no more with us. Sandya is going every where to find Prageeth. There is another attempt to commemorate the memories of Prageeth in his forth year of disappearance. We do want Justice to Prageeth's Family too as there are thousands of children with father disappear, abducted or killed by unknown. All the concern citizens should get together to pressure responsible all to stop disappearances and to find the disappeared ones. With out Justice to all families in the north and also South, there can not be long lasting Peace. Children of those depressed families need peace in mind. Oh, oh, it reminded me my incident of multiple attempts to abduct me on 22nd February, 23rd February and 28th February. My family also face the similar situation, if I had faced this type of experience. We invite all concern citizens once again to join with Sandya and families to voice out for Justice to all. Please attend to the commemoration of Prageeth on 24th January. Herman
