Comrades, We need you even tomorrow with the Power and Wisdom Yesterday!

Today, I visited two of NAFSO's very active fisheries members who were actually two Chair Persons of Southern Fisheries Organization of GAlle.
Mr. Kosma Titus, of Gammadegoda, Rathgama and Mr.Sammu Ranasena, Devineegoda, Rathgama were very active, brave and committed fisher leaders of NAFSO. Kosma Titus happened to be a leader of National Fisher People's Movement of NAFSO in 2005 and 2006. Also, Sammu Ranasena was a executive committee member of the same movement in 2003 and 2004.
Both were very active volunteers to assist their fellow fisher people when they were affected by Tsunami. Unfortunately, both of them are suffering from Cancers.
Titus has a Thyroid cancer while Ranasena has a cancer at his vocal Chord. What Ranasena speaks can not understand and just the very soft noice is coming out.
So, this is a grate loss for NAFSO movement as their committed life for the fisheries struggles, specifically for the struggle against the destructive fishing gears and for promotion of a sustainable fisheries policy in the country were two major contributions in their work for the movement.
We can not forget their hard work to collect 450,000 signatures all over the country and to submit the same to the fisheries minister in 2005 were significant contributions to the movement.
We feel big loss to the movement with the lack of their committed services to the fisher people and expect their Power and Wisdom even tomorrow as it was with us yesterday.
I was looking for two photographs of Ranasena and Titus and unfortunately was not able to find them. I will get them from my colleagues and upload by next week.
