St. Peter's Fisher coop society meeting is heat up with anchorage point issue at Kandakuliya

Me, Loyel and Pathmanathan experierienced the monthly meeting conducted at St. Peter's Fisheries Coop society at Kandakuliya today.
The chairperson, Jude Fernando of Echchankaduwa said, "We can not allow the Sekkal Fishery, the night fishery which small scale fisher people opposed as the destruction."
Members raised the promises of the construction of anchorage point at Kandakuliya. "We are unhappy when PM Ranil Wickramasinghe meet the fishermen and we raised the issue of anchorage point, some fishermen left the meeting.
This is not acceptable as we are pushing the anchorage point forward our unity was weakened with this. Our unity is the key to find solution this should not happen again."
The issue is still pending and need to address soon and fisher people decided to move forward ad Kandakuliya fishers. There should be a determination and commitment for go forward.
