VV has been working for the establishment of Good Governance in the country since the time of assasination of Lasantha Wickramatunge, the chief editor of Sunday Leader news paper. The Platform for Freedom (PfF), was established in early 2009 and continued upto late May 2014.
NAFSO came to the street on 30th May, demanding Change with Reform campaign. That process lead to draft reform proposals in 15 sectors which we came forward with reform proposals.
The same proposals we submitted to all political parties including then ptesidential candidate Maithripala Sirisena.
Now the SriLankan citizens decided there should be changed in the country and proved this on 8th Janiary, 2015.
VV has not given up the campaign to establish the reforms in the country. Organizing the citizens and mobilizing them for demand the reforms in the country.
Today, we are at Hakmana in Matara district for a dialogue with concern citizen group to organize street campaign at Hakmana and an internal dialogue at Matara in Cultural Cenyer at Nupe on 6th June.
