Revive NAFSO reserve fund for sustain the Movement !

We as NAFSO advocacy team attended the Voice and Accountability Tool exercise with one of our partners. This was a very helpful exercise to review our progress collectively. Our team was happy to see the progress being made as NAFSO last year. Most of the areas we have been progressed well while some of the areas like community participation and constituency building is stagnating at the level 3 out of 5 levels as the highest. So, coming year we need to focus more on constituency building as important. However, it is disturbing message we see about the financial situation of NAFSO as our small reserve got depleted with our overheads and admin costs. We need to plan out how to increase the volume of the reserve as this is important for us in many ways. We had already down sized our staff and if such thing happen again we do not have any other source to compensate the staff. So, this is serious matter we need to pay attention seriously. Overhead expenses are seriously increased. We need to sit and plan out how to over come the issue. At the same time, the necessity to prepare a "Business Plan" to build up NAFSO reserve is also an important matter. Herman
