Welcome to Modi! Help to find a solution to our issues

Hon. Narendra Modi, PM, India here in SL for an official visit and today, the second day of his visit Modi visit in Jaffna and received warm but a "heated" welcome from the war affected communities in the    northern province. Around 100-200 people gathered in Jaffna town representatives from Mannar, Trincomalee and Vavunia urged from Modi to mediate on their issues.
The main areas of issues raised are as followings;
! Mediate to find a solution to ethnic issue,
! Resettle the IDPs in their own lands,
! Assist to find amicable solution to Indian trawler issue,
! Need immediate attention to rectify the issues emerged in Indian housing schemes,
! We need our lands grabbed for Sampur highly industrial zone in Sampur,

! We are still waiting to know what has happened to our beloved ones, and their where abouts,

The people gathered at Jaffna are very seriously demanded a solution for Indian trawler issues immediately. The secretary to the Northern Province Fisher People's Unity S. Subramaniyam said "We expect a speedy solution to Indian trawler issue. This has been there for years now. Indian prime minister can not easily  run away and keep blind eye to this issue.
We want an amicable solution and we do hope Sri Lankan government will talk to  Indian Prime minister on this." Added Subramaniyam.

NAFSO has been working to find a solution to the ethnic issue. The people to people dialogue has been carried out since 2002. Antony Jesudasan, N/E Coordinator of NAFSO has mentioned to media today at Jaffna that "The ethnic issue was totally forgotten at the presidential election campaign. But it can not be forgotten any more. We urge Mr. Modi to mediate to find  a solution to ethnic issue."
The IDP families were also attended the protest to get their land back with the mediation of Indian PM.
"What will happen to grabbed land in Sampur? It is allocated for Indian investments. The highly industrialized zone in Sampur is about to devastate our environment, water bodies, drinking water, livelihoods. We dont want Indians to invest and destroy us. We urge Mr. Modi to not to go forward the plans to destroy our communities through industrialization." Says M. M. Mohommed Raheem of Trincomalee district fisher people's movement.
This is one big issue among us to face the challenges to our fishermen, aquatic environment and livelihoods.

"We are successful our campaign today." Says Antony Jesudasan of NAFSO. "We were able to submit a memorandum to Indian consulate after walking through a march around 3 Km from Jaffna town to Indian consulate office." Added Jesudasan.
These courageous men and women are not against Indian Prime Minister. But they want to highlight their issues which will not reflect at the high level diplomatic tables they think.
Bravo comrades. You all made your points clear and loud.!
